Sitting uopn ancient stones

Clouds float past arches

And small windows

Pen on paper

Scratching out a sketch

Of an ancient world in ruins

The chill of the afternoon wind

Battles with unmovable foundations

Eminating a constant warmth

From a day under a sapphire sky

Time marked as clouds

Lower the sky

Filling the blank space

Between the vast entity above

And the fragments of past lives below

Stop and sit

Listen and the whispering of a

Wind-swept landscape will talk

Of these people and these places

Take a load off

Sit upon ancient stones
